Edenverse v0.3.0: AI Agents Enter the World

Edenverse v0.3.0 is our most ambitious release yet. Over 25 commits across 4 weeks, this update introduces AI agents that autonomously farm, fish, and mine alongside players, while also delivering biome mobs, animated portals, dash combat, and a complete authentication overhaul.
AI Agents
The headline feature of v0.3.0 is a fully functional AI agent system, developed over 8 dedicated commits in a single week.
Autonomous Behaviour: AI agents operate independently within the game world. They navigate maps, select tasks (farming, lumbering, fishing, mining), and execute them using the same game mechanics as human players. Agent behaviour is deterministic, meaning actions are reproducible and debuggable.
Multi-LLM Support: The agent intelligence layer supports multiple LLM providers and models. Configuration was updated to allow switching between providers, giving flexibility in response quality and cost.
Persistence & Conversations: Agent scene positions and states are fully persisted. A conversation system was added, allowing players to view dialogue exchanges between themselves and agents.
Bulk Spawn: A bulk agent spawn feature was implemented, enabling rapid deployment of multiple agents into the game world for testing and gameplay scenarios.
Cross-Biome Activity: In the final patches, agents gained the ability to perform mining and lumbering in biome maps (not just the homebase), expanding their operational range across the entire game world.
Biome Mobs & Combat
Map-Specific Mobs: Each biome now features unique mob variants with distinct sprites and positions. Mobs spawn per-map, creating biome-specific encounters that add variety and challenge to exploration.
Boss & Mob Battle System: The battle system received a major overhaul. Boss and mob collision detection was improved, attack animations were standardized across all tool types, and wall depth rendering was fixed in the snow biome map.
Dash Animation: A new dash mechanic was added to combat, giving players a burst-movement option during boss encounters. The dash animation integrates with the existing battle system and responds to directional input.
Responsiveness: Boss battle UI and the main menu were made responsive, adapting to different screen sizes for a consistent experience on desktop and mobile.
Map Portals & World Navigation
Animated Portals: Map portals received new animated sprites, replacing the static transition zones. Portal positions were updated across all biomes for logical world-flow.
Travel Keys: Map travel key bindings were fixed, allowing keyboard-driven navigation between connected areas. This is critical for accessibility and speed-running.
Animated Trees: Trees across homebase and forest maps were given idle sway animations, bringing the world to life with subtle environmental motion.
Authentication & Sessions
Proper Auth System: A full authentication and session management system was implemented, replacing the previous lightweight connection flow. Sessions are now tracked, validated, and persisted properly.
Social Reset Safety: When players reset their game progress, social verifications and linked accounts are no longer deleted, preserving community connections across resets.
Audio & Visual Polish
Sound Tracks: Full musical sound tracks were added to boss battles and key game moments. The audio layer was expanded from simple sound effects to atmospheric background music.
Sprite Updates: Scythe sprites were updated, NPC depth rendering was restored across biomes, and portal sprites received a visual refresh. Gear names were standardized for consistency across the crafting UI.
Quest Fixes: Quest item progress tracking was updated, and farm-specific quests were removed to streamline the progression system. Collision handling for quest-related interactions was improved.
